Camp, hike, fish or swim? Recreation is on the rise and it’s important for those entering natural spaces to be aware of the impacts they have on the landscape.
Join Park Naturalist Samantha Palm this Friday (July 11) for a presentation with hands-on techniques on “Leave No Trace” ethics. Learn to minimize the impact on the landscape and still enjoy the outdoors.
Programs are offered every Friday evening during the summer at the historic Woodenfrog State Forest Campground Refectory near Lake Kabetogama from 7-8 p.m. Programs are sponsored by the Friends of Voyageurs National Park. No fee or registration is required to attend.
