The first baby of 2010 here in Rainy River District is a girl.
Jocelyn Gibbins and Ryan Big George, of Big Island First Nation, welcomed Princess Lillian Gibbins into the world at 2:33 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 3) at La Verendrye Hospital here
Born about a week early, the newborn weighed in at seven pounds, 13 oz.
She is the couples’ third child.
Proud older siblings are Cadence and Elgin.
