An internet outage at the Fort Frances Public Library has continued into its third day.
The library has been without an internet connection since Tuesday, when a truck doing work in the area pulled down their service cable.
The outage has affected all computers at the library, meaning anyone looking to access any of the library’s internet services will be unable to connect.
Patrons to the library are still able to checkout and return items, as library staff can perform those services manually, but they must have their library card with them.
The library’s Information Technology co-ordinator Jeremy Hughes said that the outage also affects their public website, as the server that hosts the website is located at the library building.
As of press time today, the library’s website is still inaccessible.
Hughes said that Shaw has been contacted, but that they are still waiting on a technician to fix the problem.
