St. Mary’s Church in Fort Frances and St. Thomas Aquinas Church in International Falls have teamed up to bring well-known speaker and musician Grayson Warren Brown here Sept. 8-10.
Brown will be appearing at the 5 p.m. mass at St. Mary’s on Saturday, Sept. 8 to share some of his life experiences.
Then the public is encouraged to come out for a concert at 7:30 p.m. that same evening at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in the Falls (located at 810 Fifth St.)
Enjoy an evening filled with music that will touch your soul with Brown’s passion and love for Christ.
A free-will offering will be accepted at the concert.
Brown then will make an appearance at the 10:30 a.m. mass at St. Thomas Aquinas on Sunday, Sept. 9.
He will stay around for a discussion session at St. Mary’s Church at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, and then another at St. Thomas Aquinas at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10.
A free-will offering also will be accepted at these evening sessions.
Brown has 40 years of experience working with multicultural parishes throughout the U.S. and abroad, giving him a unique insight into the power that good liturgy and music can instill in people of all races.
Through his concerts, liturgical workshops, and parish missions, Brown has helped thousands of people to “ignite the flame” that the Spirit of God has given to them.
The Jacksonville, Fla.-based speaker and musician has published six liturgical collections, including his new one, “Now That the Morning Has Broken the Darkness.”
