Info session planned for exchange families

Local families interested in hosting an exchange student from a European country, North and South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa are being sought by ASSE—an international student exchange program.
The students are well screened by ASSE, are fluent in English, 15-18 years old, and come for the 2003-04 school year. Each young person has expressed a sincere desire to learn about our country by living with a family and attending high school.
ASSE also offers qualified local students the opportunity to spend a school year, shorter term, or summer with a host family in another country.
Those interested in hosting an exchange student, or becoming a student abroad, should call 274-3553 and register for the one-hour information session.
It will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Valley Adult Learning Association (608 B Scott St.) in Fort Frances.
