Members of the Thunderheart Drum Group have assisted Couchiching youth with drumming and teachings.
Now Couchiching First Nation Treatment and Support Services would like to invite the community to come out and support Thunderheart as they raise funds to attend the Gathering of Nations Pow-Wow in Albuquerque, N.M.
An Indian taco fundraiser will be held tomorrow (April 1) at the treatment and support building on Couchiching.
The cost is $8 for a taco with a pop, and $7 for a taco without a pop.
Organizers will start taking orders as of 10 a.m., with sales to start at 11 a.m.
