The Rainy River District OPP would like to advise the public that Highway 502 remains closed to all traffic due to a road washout.
The heavy rainfall over the long weekend washed out a section about 11 km north of the Highway 11 junction.
The MTO has been advised and is attending the issue.
The public will be notified when the highway is re-opened.
Evidence of the washout can be seen in two photos circulating on Facebook of a black SUV that went into a sinkhole.
