Be advised that Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. will be upgrading its telephone system this Wednesday (Nov. 26) starting at 8 p.m. and lasting for about four-six hours.
During this time period, the public may experience a “busy signal” when calling the hospital (274-3266). Please be patient and dial the number again.
It is important to refrain from making non-urgent calls to the hospital during the upgrade.
In the event of an emergency, call “9-1-1”
If you require health advice or general health information from a registered nurse, call the Tele-health Ontario hotline number at 1-866-797-0000, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Effective Thursday, Nov. 27, the main telephone number for La Verendrye Hospital will be 274-3266 (as listed in the telephone directory).
