From the OPP
On March 30 around 11:05 a.m., the Kenora OPP responded to a report of collision between a vehicle and a train on Highway 671.
The OPP, Treaty #3 Police, and Kenora Ambulance all attended the scene, where the lone male occupant was able to be removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital for medical attention.
As a result of the investigation, a 61-year-old Kenora man was charged with impaired driving and failing/refusing to provide a breath sample.
He also was charged with failure to comply.
The man is to appear in court in Kenora on April 26.
