One lane of Highway 11/17 west of Thunder Bay was closed for about four hours yesterday while police, Conmee Fire, and MTO workers dealt with a fire.
A home that was being hauled on a flatbed caught fire on the highway, partially blocking traffic in the eastbound lane about two km east of Highway 102.
Traffic was still allowed through the area while the fire was extinguished, and clean-up and removal of the damaged home was completed.
No one was injured.
