‘Glitch’ takes down contest website

Staff

A “technical glitch” on the World Fishing Network’s “Ultimate Fishing Town” website has caused the voting page to be taken off-line temporarily.
Voting has been suspended until 4 p.m. today (local time) as the network performs maintenance on the site (www.wfn.tv/ultimate-fishing-town)
However, to make up for the lost 24 hours, voting has been extended by a day and now will close at 4 p.m. local time next Wednesday (Sept. 29).
Nestor Falls remains in a see-saw battle with Port Alberni, B.C. for the crown, which also includes a 30-minute program to be aired on the network and a $25,000 community donation.
