The Polar Bear Plunge has gone virtual this year! Raise pledges, and film yourself in the cold, with snow swimming, an ice bucket challenge, or other cold, wet activity, and submit your video before January 15! Funds raised will go towards local charities. Visit for a pledge sheet and details.

The La Verendrye Gift Shop is in need of volunteers, willing to work in the shop an afternoon or two a month. The Shop will be open Monday-Friday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. All safety precautions are in place. A great way to support fundraising for ‘care close to home’. The LaVerendrye Auxiliary is searching for a volunteer to lead a well-established team to operate the Gift Shop, raising funds for ‘care close to home’.
