January’s meeting of the “Friends of the Library” recently was held and we are looking forward to an active year under the new leadership of Cathy Robinson.
Valentine’s Day is less than a month away and once again “Friends of the Library” are planning our annual bake sale.
On Friday, Feb. 11, meet us for coffee or tea in the Great Room; it will be our first sale in the new library.
Members soon will be asking the public for donations of baked goods, cookies for the Cookie Walk, and items for the penny auction.
If you don’t get a phone call, feel free to donate anyway. We always are looking for additions to our membership lists, so come sign up.
The answer to all those queries is “Yes, we are going to have a book sale.”
The last Saturday in May is our usual sale date.
We’ll be asking for donations of gently-used books during the month of May.
