‘Friends of Animals’ joins Easter market

The local “Friends of Animals” will be joining the folks at the Clover Valley Farmers’ Market to offer a variety of spring-themed crafts, flea market items, and yummy baked goods during its annual Easter market.
The two-day sale will run Thursday, March 20 from noon-6 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 22 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
You won’t want to miss their booth, which will feature a fun assortment of bargain-priced crafts, giftware, yummy treats, and crafty trims.
Most items will sell for $5 and under, and for as little as .50 cents—priced just perfect for filling those Easter baskets and gift bags!
All proceeds will go directly towards the care and shelter of the homeless and unwanted animals in Rainy River District.
With the arrival of spring, the Friends of Animals would like to remind everyone of the importance of having your pet spayed or neutered to help prevent the future suffering of so many innocent lives.
To adopt or foster any one of their numerous four-legged friends, call 274-2144.
On behalf of the animals, thank you for your kind support!
