Fort High holding fashion show tomorrow

If you’re looking for a different way to spend your lunch hour tomorrow (Thursday), you might want to drop by the Townshend Theatre.
Fort High is holding a Next Top Model Fashion Show 2005 beginning at 11:40 a.m. and running until around 1:30 p.m.
The show was put together by students Courtney Koval, Randi Yuill, and Sara DeGagne, and will open with a dance performance by the Muskie cheerleaders.
Next, 19 models (male and female) with parade a variety of garments donated by Pinewood Sports and Marine, Wal-Mart, Mark’s Work Warehouse, McTaggarts, Warehouse One, and Skates and Blades.
Hair and make-up is by Nirvana.
There will be a short intermission, during which students Leah Nowak and Brian Vargas will cover the Shania Twain-Mark McGrath hit “A Party for Two,” followed by more modelling.
Models and wardrobe will be judged by a panel of teachers while the audience also has a chance to win a number of door prizes donated by A Little off the Top, Rainy Lake Sports and Tackle, Pharmasave, Canadian Tire, Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, Pizza Hut, and Sight & Sound.
During the second half of the fashion show, the audience will be entertained by singer Kayla Lauzon, followed by more door prizes and a 50/50 draw.
Tickets for the event cost $3 each, and will be available at the door.
