Fitzgerald elected to OCSTA board

Press Release

Anne-Marie Fitzgerald, chair of the Northwest Catholic District School Board, has been elected to the provincial board of directors for the Ontario Catholic School Trustees Association.
She is taking on the role of director-at-large.
The Northern Ontario Catholic School Trustees elected Fitzgerald to be their voice to the provincial executive so she could provide a northern perspective at the provincial discussions on Catholic education.
Fitzgerald has provided 16 years of service as a Catholic trustee, including two terms as vice-chair and currently on her second term as chair.
“The board of directors’ role is to ensure that, together, we embrace the ideal of providing excellence in Catholic education infused with Gospel values as we prepare the next generation to continue the legacy of Catholic education,” said Fitzgerald.
