First-place Sight & Sound will be looking to push their record to a perfect 6-0 when they host Rainy River.
After dropping their opening game of the season, Rainy River has surged into second place in the standings by winning their last four.
Sight & Sound improved to 5-0 with a 6-2 win over host Sabaskong (1-3) on Tuesday night.
Pitcher Harvey Flamand improved his record to 3-0 while Sabaskong’s Reg Copenace (0-1) was tagged with the loss.
Sight & Sound’s Bob Andy helped offensively, going deep for the third-straight game for his league-leading fourth homer of the season.
In other RRDFL action Tuesday night, International Falls (2-2) continued its roller-coaster season with a 4-1 victory over Stratton (3-2).
Leroy Wilson (1-0) won his first decision of the season while Curtis Berg (2-1) was saddled with the loss.
Meanwhile, Chris Jack hit his second home run of the season to help Big Grassy (1-4) beat visiting Barwick 8-7 for the team’s first win of the season.
Jeff Morrison (1-2) earned the victory while Travis Derkson (0-2) took the loss.
The other game Tuesday saw Rainy River edge Big Island (1-4) by a 4-3 score. Murray Armstrong (3-1) earned the win, with Carl Big George Jr. (0-1) taking the loss.
Rainy River’s Jim Chorney and Shawn Comegan of Big Island both hit their first round-trippers of the season.
