Police continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday at Naotkamegwanning Anicinabe (Whitefish Bay) First Nation.
Treaty #3 Police Service officers were dispatched to a report of gunfire being heard in the area of a store, with an attached residence, in the community.
Officers and ambulance personnel arrived and found one deceased male inside the building.
Charles Minshall, 61, who was the owner of the store, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not have a suspect in custody at this time.
A post-mortem examination was scheduled to take place yesterday in Kenora.
