The Developmental Services Program of Family and Children’s Services is very pleased to announce that they will be hosting a workshop on Sept. 14 sponsored by Autism Ontario.
The guest speaker will be Joe Kneisz, Autism Spectrum Disorder specialist/therapist. The focus of the workshop is “How to be a Play Partner Extraordinaire.”
Joe promises to transform you from an ordinary everyday parent, care-provider or support worker into a play partner extraordinaire.
This workshop comes complete with all the information you will need to get you playing and is chalked full of practical ideas that will keep you going.
You will gain a better understanding of what play is and how play differs in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
You will not want to miss this play based workshop.
This workshop will be held at Family and Children’s Services office on Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. with individual consultations available to be scheduled in the afternoon.
