The Vancouver-based alternative rock band “Faber Drive” will be playing at the Townshend Theatre here March 31, with tickets for the show going on sale tomorrow (March 6).
“I expect tickets to sell really fast,” noted Adam Armit, who is responsible for bringing the group to town. “The same show is in Dryden and the tickets sold out in four days.”
Armit said only 410 tickets will be for sale at Sight & Sound Audiotronic, with the cost being $20 each.
“Faber Drive” will be playing many of their hit songs, added Armit, including “Tongue Tied,” “Second Chance,” and “When I’m With You.”
“Lots of people know their music,” he remarked. “Basically the chances of hearing one of their songs when you turn on the radio is pretty good.”
“Hello Operator” will be the warm-up band.
The show is presented by Armit’s company (Wildfire Music), B93fm, and the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship.
Proceeds from the concert will help with expenses related to nighttime entertainment during the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship this July.
