Josh Henry is a Fort Frances native who loves to explore the world.
He’s been travelling the globe for the last decade and has visited more than 50 countries.
Henry won the title of “Canada’s Greatest Explorer” last summer when he won a reality outdoor adventure series, besting 11 other people in a series of eight competitive outdoor challenges across the county.
Working in tourism in nearly every continent, Henry thought it was time to giving something back to the people and places he visited.
As such, he co-founded the GiveBack GiveAway, a non-profit that focuses on community development projects around the world and provides sustainable tourism.
Henry also blogs about his travels at SmallWorldTravels.com
As part of “The Human Experience Series” at the Fort Frances Public Library, Henry will be sharing his stories and photos on Wednesday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
Admission is free, with refreshments provided by the “Friends of the Library.”
