Emergency exercise slated

Press Release

The Town of Fort Frances Airport and Fire Rescue/Service are advising all residents that an emergency exercise will be taking place tomorrow (June 14) from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The exercise will be taking place at the Fort Frances Airport grounds.
We are asking that the public avoid this area during this time as emergency personnel and other representatives will be working in the area for training purposes.
The exercise will be conducted as if it were a real emergency response. However, any activities that could be a potential risk to the public all will be simulated to ensure the safety of the public.
During the exercise, the public is being advised to listen to 93.1 The Border for updates.
Anyone with any questions or concerns prior to the exercise taking place should contact Fire Chief/CEMC Tyler Moffitt at 274-9841 or tmoffitt@fortfrances.ca or Patrick Briere, Alternate CEMC/Emergency Information Officer, at 274-5323 ext. 1218 or pbriere@fortfrances.com
