The Town of Fort Frances, Union Gas, and Energy Fundamentals Group (EFG) L.P.-Centra Pipeline, which owns and operates a natural gas transmission pipeline within Fort Frances, are advising all resident that an emergency exercise will be taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 8 a.m.-noon.
The exercise will be taking place on Fourth Street West from the CN station to York Avenue.
The public is asked to avoid this area during this time as emergency personnel and other representatives will be working in the area for training purposes.
The exercise will be conducted as if it were a real emergency response.
However, any activities that could be a potential risk to the public all will be simulated to ensure the safety of the public.
