On November 29, members of the OPP Rainy River District Detachment received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision on Mill Road in Fort Frances. Members of Treaty Three Police Service and the Rainy River District Crime unit were engaged to conduct an investigation based on the observations made at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, a 39 year old Fort Frances man has been charged criminally with: Careless storage of firearm; Failure to comply with release order X3; Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm; Impaired operation of a Conveyance by drugs or alcohol; possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking X3; possession of proceeds of crime over $5000; possession of proceeds of crime under $5000; possession of stolen property under $5000. The accused was held for bail.
