On Feb. 3, an officer of the Fort Frances OPP Community Drug Action Team, officers from the OPP Northwest Fort Frances Crime Unit, and officers of the Fort Frances OPP detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at Elizabeth Manor here.
As a result of the police investigation, Melvin Morrisseau, 63, a resident of apartment #103, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycotin and possession of cannabis marijuana.
He has been released on conditions, and is scheduled to appear in court here on March 15.
