Dairy Queen Canada will hold its annual Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 13, donating the net proceeds (pre-tax purchase price minus costs) from sales of Blizzard ice cream treats in Fort Frances to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
Miracle Treat Day, now in its 24th year, has raised nearly $58 million for 13 children’s hospitals across Canada, with $2.35 million raised in last year’s campaign. Funds raised by DQ in partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network support innovative treatments, specialized equipment, medical research and child-focused spaces that support children and families.
“The funds raised on Miracle Treat Day stay local and help 13 children’s hospitals across the country address the unique needs and opportunities within their communities,” Adam Starkman, President and CEO of Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, said in a press release.

“With more than 3.9 million hospital visits in 2025, this kind of support is directly felt by so many Canadian children and families.”
Children’s Miracle Network, managed and operated in Canada by Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.
