The death of a Wisconsin man, visiting a cabin in Rainy River District with his family late last week, has been ruled not suspicious by the OPP.
In the early evening of Friday, Aug. 19, the 38-year-old male began to suffer a serious medical emergency and was rushed to La Verendrye Hospital by his family and ambulance, police reported.
But the man was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital, and OPP was called to conduct an investigation.
A post-mortem was completed Monday (Aug. 22) at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
