Daffodil Day coming up

Yes, the daffodils are in transit!
We’ve received word from Lesley Thorley, the new Cancer Society daffodil co-ordinator in Thunder Bay, that the daffodils were due to arrive here in Fort Frances earlier this week.
As in past years, Bill Plumridge and the staff at The Beer Store volunteer space to store the daffodils until Beta Sigma Phi members sort, count, and cut them on Thursday evening before you get them on Friday (March 28).
All pre-orders of daffodils are sorted in the Knox United Church basement early Friday morning and delivered for your enjoyment.
Hopefully, you were able to place your orders early as we almost totally sold out last year.
But in case you were unable to, several businesses around town will have daffodils for sale in limited quantities on Friday. You may buy them at Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, The Beer Store, Dough & Deli, Einar’s, or at the hospital gift shop.
Or you may drop by the Knox United Church basement and pick up your bunches for $6/bunch of 10 flowers or two bunches for $10.
Remember, only you can help make cancer history. Hope blooms with each daffodil sale.
