A Fort Frances cyclist was seriously injured yesterday afternoon after a collision with a motor vehicle, Fort Frances OPP reported late this morning.
Darren Manton, 20, was trying to cross the 1200 block of King’s Highway, near Wal-Mart, around 1 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound SUV.
Police said he was taken by ambulance to La Verendrye Hospital with serious injuries.
An update on his condition was not provided.
The was no word on whether any charges would be laid, but police did say the accident remains under investigation.
