Committee members for the upcoming Dudley Hewitt Cup, which the Fort Frances Lakers are hosting this spring, will meet Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Super 8 Motel.
Committee chairman Larry Patrick said the aim of the meeting will be to nail down some of the major issues necessary for staging a successful event.
“Our budget, our website, and our advertising budget are just some of the items we’ll be dealing with,” he noted.
With just over two months to go before the tournament, Patrick said there still are dozens of other details to be addressed.
He wants issues finalized early so everything runs smoothly and visitors leave with a good impression of Fort Frances.
New volunteers are welcome to attend Tuesday’s meeting.
