Cox named new HR manager

The Rainy River District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Cox to the position of Human Resources manager, effective March 5.
She replaces retiring manager Diane Ross.
As a certified human resources professional, Cox brings to the position 12 years of experience in providing strategic human resources leadership at Ontario school boards.
She strives for excellence and has been successful in achieving results of a high standard.
Since 2002, her contributions as a human resources co-ordinator in Southern Ontario included:
•developing policies, procedures, and practices;
•building an effective health and safety program;
•implementing and maintaining pay equity plans; and
•developing a performance management program.
She served on negotiating committees and job evaluation committees during her employment, and has been actively involved in athletic and public health committees that support the well-being of communities where she resided.
As a former resident of Fort Frances, Cox looks forward to strengthening her relationships with family, friends, and community members, and to building new relationships that support a dynamic and harmonious work environment.
“Ann Cox will be a great asset to the board with her knowledge and experience in education, staff development, and leadership, and her commitment to open communication and collaborative teamwork,” said Education Director Heather Campbell.
“I am excited to welcome her to the Rainy River District School Board’s senior administration team,” Campbell added.
