Corn roast slated tomorrow

The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce is holding a corn roast in conjunction with the BIA’s Harvest Festival tomorrow to raise money for town beautification.
Now that summer is over, it is time to think about projects for next year, which includes fundraising.
“The more money we can raise, the more projects we can do,” said Crystal Godbout, community development project co-ordinator at the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce.
“Our flower project went very well and we have been getting a wonderful response from the community. The flowers added a little class to the street,” she noted.
The corn roast will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will take place at the corner of Robin’s Donuts on Scott Street.
There are so many events going on for the Harvest Festival, it will be a blast. The Chamber also will be selling pop and popcorn.
Come out and enjoy the day. Bring the kids, have some fun, and “Help Our Community Grow.”
