‘Come Alive in 2005’ adopted as theme

A group of horticulturalists braved the winter weather and met at the old CN station here to plan an exciting 2005.
Vicky Wishart suggested our theme, “Come Alive in 2005,” which was wholeheartedly accepted.
Our president, Diane Hoffman, kept ideas moving as committees were set and programs were discussed.
With past president Astrid Sobkowicz’s guidance, we dealt with all required aspects of the horticultural club functions. This kept our secretary, Helen Cook, making many notes.
The first meeting presentation, which will be on feng shui in the garden by Donna Wasykowski, is slated for Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. at the CN station.
