The Associates of St. Marguerite d’Youville once again is holding its annual winter coat drive.
They want clean, used winter coats in good condition for men, women, and children to be able to give to the needy.
Mittens, hats, and boot also are welcome.
Organizer Anna McNay suggested businesses may want to make the effort to gather winter coats from among staff, noting Gillons’ Insurance did it last year and brought in seven bags of donations.
Those who want to donate coats can drop them off next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 25-26) from 1-4 p.m. at the East End Hall on Fifth Street East.
The coats then will be given away on Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and again on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the same location.
No early visitors please.
