The Fine Line Art Gallery here is looking for artists and crafters to sell their wares in its upcoming “Christmas Extravaganza.”
Fine Line co-op member Jean Richards said the event will start with an open house on Thursday, Nov. 24 and run through the end of December.
As in past years, the gallery will be selling paintings, stained glass, pottery, and much more created by its co-op members.
But it also is looking for other local artists and crafters to submit their wares for sale to truly make it a Christmas shopping extravaganza.
Richards said arts and crafts entered could be anything. In the past, they’ve ranged from jewellery to homemade tree ornaments to hand-sewn items.
Although it is a Christmas open house, the items need not be holiday-themed—just that they be items someone would like to buy as gifts, said Richards.
The cost to enter is $10, with entries being subject to gallery approval.

This will be the third year for the “Christmas Extravaganza.”
Richards recalled the first year was “really good” while last year, it started at the beginning of November and went on a little long so that “it wasn’t busy all at once.”
She noted the event is special in that is presents shoppers with so many unique gift ideas made by local artists and crafters.
