Adult singers wanting to participate in this year’s Christmas cantata are reminded to come out to the practice tonight at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church.
This year’s cantata, or at least a portion of it, will be “Bethlehem Morning,” which was performed back in 2004.
Anyone who still has their song book for “Bethlehem Morning” to bring it with them to tonight’s practice.
The cantata is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 12 at St. Mary’s Church, with a second performance slated for Sunday, Dec. 19 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in the Falls.
As well, young singers are being given one more chance to join a children’s choir being added to the cantata program this year.
Those interested must show up for practice this Saturday (Nov. 6) at 1:45 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church.
Children and their parents must commit to all weekly rehearsals leading up to the Dec. 12 cantata.
Anyone with questions can call Diane Maxey at 274-7309. Leave a message if she’s not home.
