Dr. Dennis Swanberg is coming to the Evangelical Covenant Church in International Falls this Saturday (May 7) at 7 p.m.
The event is being hosted by the local Christian Parents’ Association as a fundraiser for the Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program’s school building campaign.
Dr. Swanberg is known by many as “America’s Minister of Encouragement.”
Yes, he is an ordained minister who speaks across the country to encourage people from all walks of life to look at the “lighter side of life.”
He uses laughter as a tool to break down people’s barriers about themselves, and promotes faith and family values in a light-hearted and humorous way.
He has the reputation of revealing and installing hope, and motivating people from all walks of life.
Dr. Swanberg has been featured on the worldwide radio ministry of Dr. James Dobson’s “Focus and the Family.”
He also has spoken in many denominations and churches throughout the country, and formerly was host of the show, “Swan’s Place” and the “Dennis Swanberg Show.”
The great evening of laughter will be general admission seating, however, some reserved seats are available.
Reserved seating will be located in the front two rows of the auditorium.
Tickets are available at Borderland Esso in Emo, SCAP in Stratton, and the Psalm 99.5 radio station in International Falls, as well as from Mark and Tina Mast in Rainy River and Nancy Gobeil in Fort Frances.
Any tickets purchased by phone will be held at the door to be picked up on the evening of the event.
