Few could deny a good part of the holiday experience is the festive music, and Diane Maxey and some members of the Fort Frances Choraliers will be making several appearances in the next few days here to spread Christmas cheer.
The carollers will be performing for residents at Rainycrest Home for the Aged tonight from 6-6:30 p.m., then at La Verendrye Hospital tomorrow from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The group then will take their songs to Scott Street on Saturday, when they make the rounds in downtown Fort Frances starting at 1 p.m.
“We’re just singing our little hearts out,” said Maxey, whose choir just wrapped a four-concert series in tandem with the Borderland Community Orchestra.
They performed shows in Emo (Dec. 9), International Falls (Dec. 10), Baudette (Dec. 16), and at the Townshend Theatre here this past Sunday (Dec. 17).
