Cheerleaders take sixth at regional showdown

The Muskie cheerleaders finished sixth overall out of nine schools at the Ontario Cheer-leading Federation “North” regional showdown Sunday afternoon in Thunder Bay.
The black-and-gold earned 262.5 points for their presentation—80 points behind Port Arthur Collegiate Institute (Thunder Bay), which won the competition with 328.8 points.
But every squad will have the option of competing at the OCF’s all-Ontario championship in April.
The Kenora Broncos squad ended up finishing fourth overall while the Dryden Eagles were ninth.
