It was a Happy Thanksgiving for Conny Speiss of Thunder Bay, who won the $500 up for grabs Oct. 8 in the Rainy River District Mutual Aid Association’s weekly cash calendar draw.
Winnings $30 for Oct. 7-13 were Tony and Dorothy Weir (Fort Frances), Jim Mallard (Atikokan), Jeff Hyatt (Devlin), Darwin and Michelle Woods (Fort Frances), Murray and Carol Ross (Winnipeg), Mark White (Atikokan), and Jorden Bremault (South Junction, Man.)
Winning $100 for Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, respectively, were Ken Munn (Fort Frances) and Vera Croswell (Fort Frances).
Winning $30 for Sept. 30-Oct. 6 were Darcy Byrnes (Fort Frances), Irene Johnson (Nestor Falls), Teri and Shawn Retzler (Paris, Ont.), Bruce and Betty Wickstrom (Devlin), Connie Sinclair (Fort Frances), Joelyn Frenette (Toronto), and Dianne McCoy (Devlin).
