Canadian Tire project to start soon

Canadian Tire has confirmed it will begin construction on a new store here shortly, with an expected opening in 2005.
“Construction should start in the next week or two,” Canadian Tire spokesperson Lisa Gibson said Friday morning.
She also confirmed the new store would include a Mark’s Work Wearhouse. “That’s two good stores under one roof,” she noted.
Gibson said further details, such as the size of the new store, would be released in the coming weeks.
