(FORT FRANCES, ON) – The Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Town of Fort Frances Bylaw Department are reminding residents in Fort Frances that calendar parking is in effect year round within the town. With expected snow in the next few days, officers will be out issuing parking tickets. Should they be interfering with snow clearing efforts they may also be ticketed and towed at the owners expense. Not only do they congest streets, and plug up the street for the motoring public, it could also interfere with emergency vehicles going to a call for service.
