Business awards return tonight for 23rd year

Staff

It’s time to celebrate your local businesses.
The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 23rd annual Business Awards tonight at the Copper River Inn. The night is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails, with dinner being served at 7:00 p.m.
The event will also feature entertainment, a cash bar, silent auction and the presentations of the awards.
Traditionally held in the fall of the year, tonight’s event is the rescheduled date for the awards that were set to take place last year. In a 2019 Chamber meeting, it was noted that attendance was down and moving the awards to a biannual schedule.
