The 14th-annual Business Awards gala, presented by the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce, has been postponed until sometime in the new year.
“With everything going on, we reluctantly decided to schedule at a later date,” new Chamber manager Anthony Mason said, noting the event likely will be held at the end of January or beginning of February.
Originally scheduled for next Saturday (Nov. 7), the awards gala offers a chance to recognize businesses, organizations, and individuals for outstanding business achievement and the contributions made to the economic growth and prosperity of Rainy River District.
Mason indicated nomination forms will be out in the next few weeks and that residents should start thinking about who they would like to nominate.
