‘Broccoli and Butterflies’ coming here

Mark your calendars! You don’t want to miss “Broccoli and Butterflies” on stage at Townshend Theatre next week.
Kids and Company will stage the final show of its 2004/05 season on Monday (May 2) as Axis Theatre Company takes the stage with “Broccoli and Butterflies.”
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 6:30. For non-passport holders, tickets will be available at the door, so come out and enjoy the show—and bring a friend!
“Broccoli and Butterflies” is the story of three caterpillars and their journey from birth to maturity, their search for the Green Mountain of Broccoli, and their quest to fulfill their mother’s last wish and get their wings.
Axis Theatre Company has been performing for young audiences for nearly 30 years.
In related news, Kids and Company passports for the 2005/06 season will be on sale before and after Monday night’s show.
The tentative line-up includes Ballet Creole—A Tapestry of Dance, Fizzical Fizzicks—A Science Circus Show, the Maritime Marionettes—M or R, and Cadence—4 Men, 4 Mics, and No Instruments.
Kids and Company also is planning some surprises to make each show memorable for its young audiences, and looks forward to seeing some new faces in the audience next season.
