Bring passport and proof of vaccine to emergency department visits

La Verendrye General Hospital (LVGH) will be working to install a new CT scanner Friday September 23 to Monday October 3, 2022. During this time, on-site CT services will be unavailable and patients urgently requiring a CT will be transported to Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, Minnesota to receive this diagnostic and will then immediately return to LVGH to receive care.

To expediate the process of crossing the border, Riverside requests that all patients bring their passport and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status with them to the Emergency Department if possible, during this time. Unvaccinated patients and those without a passport should not be deterred from seeking medical care.

We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to the new CT’s installation, which will allow us to better serve our community.
