Looking to do a little early spring cleaning of those bookshelves?
Well, donations for the annual book sale at Revco Carpet can be dropped off starting Monday (Feb. 11).
The book sale, in support of the local Alzheimer Society and Cyclone Swim Club, will run next Thursday and Friday (Feb. 21-22) from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and again Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Those interested in giving away their gently-used books are asked to drop them off at 950 Fifth St. W. up until the end of the first day of the sale.
Donors are encouraged to give books such as novels, but not encyclopedias, magazines, and textbooks.
As in past years, book-lovers can drop by the store, fill a bag with books, and then make a donation.
While there will be no penny weigh-in coinciding with the book sale this year, patrons are more than welcome to drop off any pennies they want to get rid of.
Proceeds from the event will go towards further promotion of Alzheimer awareness and education in both districts, and to the Cyclone Swim Club.
