‘Bloom’ group looking for slogan

The local “Communities in Bloom” committee is looking for the public’s help is coming up with a short slogan to jump-start the project here.
“We have a slogan at the bottom of our letterhead, but it’s long,” said Crystal Godbout, secretary-treasurer for the local “Communities in Bloom” committee.
“We need something short,” she added.
The current slogan is: “Let Our Heritage Be the Root for Our Community to Bloom Into the Future.”
Godbout noted the shorter slogan will be used for promotional materials for the “Communities in Bloom” initiative, and also serve as a sort of “hook” to build up hype around the contest the committee hopes to get going in the spring.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday, Nov. 30.
