Blazes destroy trailer, garage

A trailer burned down at the Lakeview Trailer Court here in the early-morning hours of Saturday.
Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze on Pine Crescent after midnight.
The residents, including two adults and five children, escaped the flames.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Meanwhile, the cause of a fire that destroyed a garage on the 900 block of McKenzie Avenue North on Friday morning still is being determined.
The blaze also damaged a neighbouring garage.
No injuries were reported.
In other news, a 15.5-hectare fire continues to burn north of Emo, near Alexander Road.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry responded Friday.
The human-caused blaze currently is listed as “under control.”
The Fort Frances District has seen a total of eight fires since April 1, consuming a total of 25 hectares.
One fire, covering 360 ha in size, currently is active in Kenora District.
Another three fires are burning in Thunder Bay District,
The North West region has seen 27 fires to date, consuming 410.5 ha in all.
