On the afternoon of Sept. 8, Drug Enforcement Unit officers, with the assistance of members from the OPP’s Thunder Bay Detachment and the K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Highway #588 in Strange Township.
Officers located indoor and outdoor marijuana grow operations on the property, and seized 294 marijuana plants, 340 grams of dried marijuana, and three long guns.
The total street value of the drugs seized is about $300,000.
Biaggio Tucci, 49, of Strange Township was charged with production of marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and unauthorized possession of firearms.
He will appear in court Oct. 28 in Thunder Bay.
